Signal lines

In the toolkit of the terminal it is possible to add signals. If you have ever used the signals you know that it’s easy. You just define the price and the terminal tells you when it’s time to. However it becomes more difficult when you need to change the signal settings very often. The «Signal lines» tool was created to make your work with the signals much easier, visual and accessable. In my scope of tools this one is the most frequent in use, it the essential part.

The tool will place the lines in the chart. The lines can be moved. When the market price crosses the line you will hear the alarm signal. And if you link the mobile terminal to the terminal on your computer, you can receive the signals lines to the mobile device. There is also a useful feature. If the position according to an active tool is opened the line will show your profit according to its price.

If the option is enabled and description of the line is set, description will go along with the signal on your phone.

You can provide your description for each line, it needs to disable the «Show the profit in the line description».

version 1.107
  • true - on (by default) false - off

On/Off status of the module. This option can be useful in case the tool is not used as a separate advisor but is placed in the tools container.

  • string (by default - 'default')

If you want to use different settings for different one symbol charts (e.g. line position or On/Off status) you can use profile names of various kinds. This will separate their settings.

  • true - display (by default) false - not display

Show the profit in the line description. If the position according to an active tool is opened the line will show your profit according to its price.

That is, you can, for example, drag a line to the place where you plan to exit the market and the line shows how profits will be in that place.
Earnings calculated on the basis of your open position.

  • true - display (by default) false - not display

Show the profit even if there is no opened position according to the active tool. In this case the line will show the profit from the ongoing market price to the price of the line with the volume position which was given in advance (see the next paragraph).

With this data you can easily calculate the potential profit or loss for the calculation of risk. Always useful information and handy.

  • floating-point number (by default - 0.1)

The lot (the position volume) to calculate profit if there is no opened position.

  • true - yes (by default) false - no

Position the line in the visible part of the chart in case of intensive module reactivation.

For example the lines are beyond the visible part and you need to position them right now. In this case you can quickly switch the module in the next order: On-Off-On. You will see that the lines are now positioned in the visible part of the chart. We would say it «call the lines nearer»

  • integer (by default 180 = 3min.)

The number of seconds between the audio alerts.

If you are waiting for a very important price you can decrease the interval between the alerts. The terminal will inform you more often.

  • string (by default 'tick.wav')

The sound alarm file name (to inform you that the market price has crossed the line) you can find in the terminal folder «Sounds». You can choose the sound you like and even add your own one.

  • color (by default DarkSalmon)

The color of an active line. This is the color of the line when the module is switched on and is ready to send you the alarms.

  • color (by default LavenderBlush)

The color of inactive line. This is the color of the line when the module is switched off. We recommend you to choose the color close to the color of the chart so that the inactive line won’t be seen.

  • one of two colors (by default auto)

The button color. If you use the light background choose the light button. If you use the dark background then use the dark button. There are two variants for the button color.

  • integer (by default 10)

    The On/Off button offset

  • integer from 0 to 40 (by default 0)

The offset of the lines description to the right. You may need it when the descriptions intersect with the descriptions of the STOP-levels and the opened positions.

А можно как-то настроить советник, чтобы он работал с последней ценой, а не с ценой бид?

Очень полезный и удобный инструмент. Сокращает количество лишних телодвижений в разы!
